          I chose this field because for me nothing can compete with the power of an image; the frame, the colours, and of the light. LIGHT: the reason we can see the world around us. For me it's the most extraordinary element, capable of instantly changing a film's atmosphere. 

         John Alton once said that cinematography is like painting with light. There can't be a more perfect metaphor. I got into film school because making a film is a magical thing. We are creating a brand new world, unique and with endless possibilities.

       This is what I love, this is what I want my life to be about.
